Since September 2019, Y Manod has been owned and run by Ben and Sarah Lawton, with the help of a small team of wonderful staff.
Currently a successful pub, selling beverages and snacks, plans are afoot to expand our offering to include affordable, home-cooked meals. We are therefore undergoing some construction work to maintain the building and develop a commercial kitchen in the basement. This does not affect the comfort or daily service of the pub itself.

I couldn’t recommend this pub more – I visited with my dog a couple of days ago and although it is a local pub, I couldn’t have been made more welcome by the staff, thank you! The punters were also very friendly and I really enjoyed the evening. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or passing through!

Stayed in the area and stumbled across this little gem, recent new owners with a very warm welcome. Locals all very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, no food yet but owners have big plans for the place. Give it a try you will not regret it. Most friendly pub in the area, walker and dog friendly too, give the quiz night a go, see if you can beat the locals on their patch.

Fabulous local hang out that is 100% friendly for passers through and guests to the area. Quiz Nights on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 9.15pm. Lots of evening “dos/gigs”. Check out the recent posts for the latest things to do.
